Digital Learning Platform

One area in the global smart education market – the market of companies and institutions using or ready to use smart / digital education solutions – in which Ricoh sees an opportunity, is the mobile collaborative solutions. Many learning solutions on the market focus on by-yourself or in-classroom learning (from traditional to e-learning). Currently no tool is on the market that focusses on on-the-go / always-on learning by collaboration.

Problem to solve

Practically all of the learning platforms currently available focus on 'getting the job done'. The job in this case is delivering content from the teacher to the right target audience and measuring usage. Over time features are added to get more types of content, in more ways to more specific target audiences and measure more.

Learning Strategy Consultancy

The Ricoh Learning Platform will have the most impact on improving companies, by the paradigm shift we cause. By questioning the learning habits, and stimulating new learning habits with supporting tools. So, when there is a strong purpose, a clear way of understanding your level of mastery (by results) and if people are able to figure it out for themselves autonomously, without restrictions, we believe people will grow the fastest.

Learning Points Activities

User get learning points by doing the activities. Those can be traditional e-learning activities like 'follow training' 'do exam'. But more importantly are social activities: 'like', 'comment', content creating activities like 'ask question', 'answer question', 'create quiz' and coaching activities 'approve content','give goal'.

Learning Timeline

The main benefit of a company with training and e-learning is to increase the value of the co-workers. Because with more skills, more is possible. If we contribute to more people have a real eagerness to learn, this will automatically increase the value of the company

Listen On Your Watch

That being said, in some people you see they love to learn, and do it eagerly. And it doesn't actually really matter where the content for learning is coming from, as long as it's available. But many others do not. Somehow there is a distinct difference.

Collaboration

Autonomy does not mean you do everything by yourself. Great learning happens in groups. The tool activities are almost all geared towards interaction an collaboration. In other words, a social approach to learning. For instance, people can comment on each other, ask questions, chat etc. They can make groups with anyone they want within the company. From different countries or subsidiaries. Everyone can connect to anyone.
